Kuala Lumpur, Sept 9 – Gerakan president Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong said Penang needs to have more Barisan Nasional Youth leaders in order to fight for the people’s justice.

Quoting an example, he said Jason Loo who is the Penang Gerakan Youth chief, had been sued by Lim Guan Eng over his questions on malpractices on the sale of land in Peel Avenue.

He said Gerakan will stand behind Jason Loo in the law suit.

Mah Siew Keong said this in a meeting with Penang Barisan Nasional Youth leaders yesterday.

Mah Siew Keong commended the Penang Barisan Nasional Youth leaders for exposing the European Business Assembly (EBA) awards scandal, he also encouraged the youth leaders to continue uphold the attitude of concern oneself with facts and not with individuals, and to continue serving Penang people.

He said Gerakan would nominate more new faces as candidates and also would support Penang Barisan Nasional to nominate more new faces to stand in the coming general election to enable Penang electorates to have more “young” choices.

Also present at the meeting included Penang Barisan Nasional youth chairman Hng Chee Wey, Penang Umno Youth chairman Rafizal, Penang MCA Youth chief Lee Beng Seng, and Penang PPP Youth chairman Thaiyalan etc.
